Teenage sensation and Indian first hitter Shafali Verma remained firm in the top spot while New Zealand all-rounder Sophie Devine became the world’s top-ranked new all-rounder in the latest T20I rankings released on Tuesday. Devine also earned a spot on the batting charts to move up to number five. Devine showed his class in the third T20I against England in Hove, scoring 50 points with the bat while coming back with numbers of 2/26. This allowed her to gain a place and be the best all-rounder alongside the English Natalie Sciver.
Other overall winners include India’s Deepti Sharma, Australia’s Ellyse Perry and West Indian Hayley Matthews, all of whom gained a spot to move up to number 4, 5 and 6 respectively. Stafanie Taylor lost three spots. at number 7.
In the batting standings, South African Lizelle Lee was the big winner, jumping three spots to eighth place on the charts. Devine also gained a place, reaching fifth place.
In the bowling charts, the Australian Megan Schutt moved up two places to reach second place in the standings. Jess Jonassen also gained a spot to reach number 4 in the standings.

Hayley Matthews, who was the biggest wicket taker in the T20I series against South Africa, moved up seven spots to place in the top 15 in the bowling standings.
With the third T20I between England and New Zealand to come, it will provide players on both sides with further gains in the rankings.
