Andre Russell of the Kolkata Knight Riders knocked down a precise Yorker to send Royal Challengers Bangalore star batsman Bangalore, AB de Villiers back to the flag for a golden duck in Game No.31 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 on Monday. De Villiers had just come out at bat after the dismissal of KS Bharat. Russell immediately went full and straight towards him and beat De Villiers’ defense. After securing the big wicket from De Villiers, Russell celebrated by hitting the air with glee.

Earlier in the match, Virat Kohli won the draw and chose to strike at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Kohli’s decision backfired as KKR bowlers continued to chip away at wickets at regular intervals. Seaman Prasidh Krishna dealt RCB a heavy blow when he trapped Virat Kohli in front of the wicket with his fourth delivery which hit him above the knee.
After completing a double century of matches for RCB, Kohli did a review, but ball tracking technology confirmed she was going to hit the stumps. This was immediately after Kohli sent a delivery from Krishna past the offside place for a nice four.
RCB then lost Devdutt Padikkal on the last ball of the sixth. The Bangalore-based franchise went on to lose KS Bharat and AB de Villiers similarly.
Promoted
A few overs later, Glenn Maxwell and debutant Wanindu Hasaranga were both sacked by Varun Chakravarthy.
RCB was ultimately knocked out for a paltry 92.
