The iPhone 13 launch event is scheduled for September 14. Before that, Apple started teasing the features of iOS 15 via notifications through the Tips app. By tapping on this notification, users will take a brief tour highlighting all the great features of iOS 15. These include Focus mode, Live Text in Photos, Voice Isolation, the new Shared With You section in apps, Safari tab groups, notification summaries, system-wide translation, augmented reality-based walking routes in Apple Maps, and more.
Ahead of the September 14 event, the Tips app is sending out notifications to all iPhone users with a teaser of all the features coming to iOS 15. This notification was first spotted by MacRumors and is likely to be released. ‘have landed on all iPhones with the Tips app. Pre installed.
The notification would say, “See what’s happening in iOS 15. Check out the new features that will help you stay connected and focus. The notification presents the user with a brief introduction of all the features coming with the next iOS update. The iOS 15 preview was also uploaded in the Collections section of the Tips app, Gadgets 360 was able to independently verify. It’s placed on top of a similar preview of iOS 14 that may have been released last year.
IOS 15’s upcoming voice isolation feature removes background noise during FaceTime and ensures your voice is crisp and clear. The next Shared with you section in apps will let you find photos, music, websites, and other content sent to you by others. Focus mode will allow you to turn off notifications you don’t need when you’re working, exercising, etc. The augmented reality-based street direction feature in Apple Maps will only be available in certain cities.
Considering the iOS 14 release schedule, it can be assumed that iOS 15 could be released a day after the iPhone event, which is September 15th. The iPhone 13 lineup is expected to be unveiled at the event alongside the Apple Watch Series 7.
