The tender for the two new Indian Premier League (IPL) teams is expected to take place on October 17. Interestingly, while the last day for team auction questions is September 21, bids can be selected until October 5. Speaking to ANI, sources familiar with the developments confirmed the same. “The tender is expected to take place on October 17 while queries about it can be made until September 21,” the source said. On August 31, the Board of Directors of the Indian Premier League (IPL) launched a tender to acquire the right to own and operate one of the two new teams proposed to participate in the tournament from the season 2022, through a competitive bidding process. .

“The detailed terms and conditions governing the submission and evaluation of bids, including eligibility conditions, the process for submitting bids, the rights and obligations of new teams proposed, etc.” available upon receipt of payment of the non-refundable fee of INR 10,000,000 (ten lakh rupees only) plus any applicable goods and services tax, ”BCCI said in an official statement.

The ITT is available for purchase until October 5. Interested parties have been invited to email BCCI for further details on the purchase of the ITT. The email requesting the ITT must have the subject line “ITT for the right to own and operate one of the two new proposed IPL teams”.
