Overwatch League All-Star skins are back for a limited time

The Overwatch League isn’t hosting an All-Stars weekend this year for what should be obvious reasons after the past 18 months. With no real event to commemorate, Monitoring the designers did not create new All-Star skins. That’s perfectly understandable, but perhaps to make up for it, Blizzard is pulling the All-Stars skins from previous years out of the vault and making them available again for a limited time.

You will have until September 26 (the day after the 2021 Overwatch League Grand Finals) to unlock the following skins:

• Atlantic Star Tracer 2018
• 2018 Pacific Star Genji
• Atlantic Star Mercy 2019
• Pacific Stars 2019 Lúcio
• 2020 Gaia Reinhardt
• 2020 Celeste D.Va

They each require you to shell out over 200 OWL tokens, costing around $ 10 in real money.

All-Stars skins are built around elements and themes to reflect players from the Atlantic and Pacific divisions (now West and East) competing against each other. In 2018, the theme of fire and water led to a lava-style skin for Genji and an aquatic outfit for Tracer.

The following year, Blizzard released some awesome sun and moon themed All-Star skins for Lúcio and Mercy respectively. In 2020, it was the tanks’ turn to get All-Star skins with the gorgeous Celestial D.Va and Gaia Reinhardt looks.

This is the second time this year that Blizzard has taken the Overwatch League skins out of the vault and let fans collect them. Last month, he unveiled some Championship and MVP skins for a limited time.

In addition to bringing back the All-Stars skins and fixing a few bugs, the Monitoring patch introduces other updates to the live game. The handy custom game filters that Blizzard tested on the PTR last month are now available to everyone, while the final season of 3v3 competitive block removal is underway.
