September’s free PS Plus games are live

This month’s free PlayStation Plus games are live and it’s a much better month than August with a pretty diverse lineup of new titles.

Overcooked! All You Can Eat (PS5)

On PS5 we have the delicious - so stressful -Overcooked! All you can eat a game about preparing food with a friend while avoiding obstacles, putting out fires and racing against the clock. It’s a lot of fun and a lot of stimulating.

Predator: Hunting Grounds (PS4)

I haven’t played this asymmetric shooter yet, but it seems like a fun game and judging by what I’ve heard from players, it has actually improved dramatically since launch. You play as either the titular alien bounty hunter himself or a team of special ops soldiers trying to take him down. Death by the light of day but with Predator.

Hitman 2 (PS4)

If you like stealth assassination games you can’t do better than the Hitman franchise and Hitman 2 (which is by no means the second game in the series) is a great place to start. Sprawling and complex levels with tons of open play options, the game is a great sandbox of creative retreat freedom. Good time.

The game also runs at 4k / 60fps on PS5, so that’s pretty neat.

These games were leaked ahead of the official announcement. I try to stay on top of PS Plus leaks every month, so stay tuned as October approaches. I know it sounds premature to say this, but time flies when you’re having fun.
