Indian and Mumbai Indian (MI) drummer Suryakumar Yadav is celebrating his 31st birthday today. Birthday wishes for the cricketer started pouring in to various social media sites on Tuesday night as soon as the clock struck 12. Indian skipper Virat Kohli was among the first to wish the right-handed batsman. Sharing a photo of him and Suryakumar Yadav on Instagram Stories, Kohli wrote, “Happy Birthday, Suryakumar Yadav.” He added, “Have the best day and the best year ahead of you. God bless you.” In the photo, Kohli and Suryakumar were seen wearing the Indian team’s white jersey, bumping their fists while punching.

Veteran wicket keeper and batsman Dinesh Karthik also wished Suryakumar on Twitter. “We wish a very happy birthday to one of the rising stars of Indian cricket, Suryakumar Yadav. Keep on shining,” Karthik tweeted.

The Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) also wished the drummer his special day by sharing a video of Suryakumar’s first half-century T20I on Twitter. “Stylish and fearless drummer, pair of sure hands on the pitch, I wish #TeamIndia’s Suryakumar Yadav a very happy birthday. Let’s sit down and enjoy his first half-century T20I,” BCCI captioned the post on Twitter. .

The International Cricket Council (ICC) also wished Suryakumar for the special occasion by sharing a photo of him in the blue India jersey. In addition to the snap, ICC wrote: “SKY is the limit! Happy birthday to Indian star Suryakumar. What place will he have a say in # T20WorldCup?”

Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav is currently in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL) second leg, which begins on September 19.
Suryakumar has also been named to the Indian squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which will be played in the United Arab Emirates and Oman in October and November.
