Bajaj Auto launched the new Bajaj Pulsar NS125 in India at a price of ₹ 93,690 (old showroom, Delhi). This is the first 125cc bike the company has launched in its ‘NS’ or naked sport line-up and will position itself as the entry-level performance model after the NS200 and NS160. Bajaj says the NS125 is for young enthusiasts. The NS125 will be offered in four color options which are Pewter Gray, Beach Blue, Blazing Orange and Burnt Red. Bajaj says the NS125 is the most powerful motorcycle in its segment, with the exception of the KTM 125 Duke of course.

The Pulsar NS125 receives a 124.45 cc BS6 DTS-i engine that develops 11.82 hp at 8,500 rpm and maximum torque of 11 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The braking equipment consists of a 240mm disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the rear. The motorcycle weighs 144 kg, which is the heaviest for a 125cc bike.
