The proportion of young people who have experienced sexual violence but have not told anyone about it stands at 47.3% in Japan, a government survey revealed on Friday.
The Cabinet Office survey defined sexual violence as an “unwanted sexual remark or act”. The number of respondents who said they had experienced such behavior was 2,040.
