WWE has made various changes to several departments within the company as part of the retooling carried out by WWE President Nick Khan.
We told you on Wednesday that Jason Jordan has a new role at the company and Adam Pearce has moved to another role, but there has been no confirmation of what that is.
Pwinsider.com reported today that Pearce has made progress in terms of behind-the-scenes responsibilities as his new title is Director of Live Events.
In the past, WWE had the person in this role overseeing live events and creative tours and lineups. So this is another sign that WWE is moving closer to hosting live events and continuing to prepare for return-to-tour strategies.
Michael Hayes had played that role, but since the shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he has produced main event angles and storylines for Roman Reigns on SmackDown.
It should be noted that Pearce is still a producer and helps other producers with their matches.
