And Alexandra Burke discussed the inconvenience of her time in the public eye on Thursday as she revealed she had received death threats from a 15-year-old girl.
Speaking with Bobby Norris on Fubar Radio about the shocking abuse she received online, the former X Factor winner, 33, claimed the child “knew what she was doing.”

Alexandra explained: “I received death threats years ago and had a problem there… We found out who the person was, it was a 15 year old girl.
The 2008 X-factor winner added that when the girl was caught she tried to apologize – but she didn’t think it was sincere.
She continued, “She wrote me a letter and said ‘I’m sorry, I didn’t realize what I was doing’.
“When you write the words ‘I want to kill you’ and ‘I am going to kill you tonight’ you know what you are doing. I don’t accept that they don’t know what they are talking about or that they don’t know what effect it will have on people.

Referring to research from the AVAST Foundation, Alexandra added: “One in four adults think trolling, in my area in particular, is fair game.
“One in two people aged 16-24 think it is good and acceptable. It blows my absolute mind.
Alexandra also revealed that being on SAS: Who Dares Wins has helped her deal with trolls online.
She explained, “It’s only since taking the SAS course that this has changed a lot for me over the past year. I feel like a different human being. I’m definitely able to take these comments, read them, and not react as badly as I was a year ago.
“I don’t accept that they don’t know what they are talking about or that they don’t know the effect it will have on people,” the social media troll star added.
When asked what she would say to the trolls if they could hear her now, Alex replied, “Kill them with kindness. This is the most important thing.
The candid interview comes after Alexandra reportedly worked on a new album.
The new album is expected to fall into the “high octane pop music” genre, according to The Sun.
A source told the publication: “Alexandra is back in the studio and feels more inspired than ever.
“She performed all of her hits at Mighty Hoopla in London in early September and the reaction was so overwhelming that it made her want to do some huge pop songs that fill the floor.”
The Bad Boys hitmaker has reportedly been eyeing three major record labels and apparently collaborates with the biggest names in the business.
The source continued, “Her creative ideas are flowing and she feels like a brand new artist after winning the SAS. She has a lot more to give. Life is exciting again for her and she’s back in her place. happy.
