Ankr’s unique open-source scaling solutions have dramatically improved BNB Chain’s scalability, storage requirements, and synchronization processes.
BNB Chain, which currently represents $6.14 billion of Total Value Locked (TVL) in DeFi protocols, has benefited greatly from open-source network improvements initiated by decentralized Web3 infrastructure provider Ankr.
Specifically, Ankr has been working on BNB Channel performance shortcomings since September 2021, providing various scaling and output fixes.
💡Ankr provides an enormous level of technical support for the public goods that make Web3 and ecosystems like the BNB channel possible.

BNB Chain’s infrastructure provider offers
The Ankr protocol team has revealed that its scaling solution has helped improve the performance of the BNB chain, providing the ecosystem with an environment that benefits more decentralized applications (dApps), games and protocols. of governance.
“Ankr is a key infrastructure provider for the BNB Chain ecosystemsaid Samy Karim, Ecosystem Coordinator at BNB Chain.
“Their contributions and expertise were essential in implementing BNB chain upgrades with the Erigon client, rewriting the Archive Node infrastructure, and creating a framework for BNB application side chains.he explained in a statement shared with UKTN.
Ankr Upgrades to BNB Channel
Among the enhancements to the BSC is a 10x increase in the throughput of Remote Procedure Call (RPC) requests. There was also a 75% reduction in network storage requirements and a 100x sync process.
Also critical is Ankr’s rollout of a new scaling framework that enables the deployment of app-specific sidechains on the BNB chain.
According to Karim, the improvements will allow the BNB Chain ecosystem to continue providing users and builders with access to the “latest benefits” of the blockchain world.
The improvements are crucial for BNB Chain, with users expected to benefit more from their DeFi, Web3, and GameFi experiences. Ankr is also planning additional blockchain support through new security upgrades and cross-chain asset transfer.
