Logitech Crayon listing on the company website has been updated to reflect support for Apple’s iPad Pro 11-inch (4th generation) and iPad Pro 12.9-inch (6th generation), according to a report. This suggests that the next generation of iPad Pro models could be launched soon. Apple is already expected to host a launch event in October where tech giant Cupertino could unveil these two tablets. The iPad Pro 12.9-inch (6th generation) and iPad Pro 11-inch (4th generation) can be powered by an M2 SoC.
According to a report by 9To5Mac, Apple could soon launch the next generation of iPad Pro models. The report highlights that the iPad Pro 11-inch (4th generation) and iPad Pro 12.9-inch (6th generation) were spotted on the list of supported devices for Logitech Crayon in Logitech’s online store. Later, the names of the two upcoming iPad Pro models were removed. Therefore, Gadgets 360 was unable to independently verify the listing.
This reportedly suggests that the next-generation iPad Pro 12.9-inch and iPad Pro 11-inch could be unveiled by Apple soon. The Cupertino-based tech giant is already expected to unveil the iPad Pro 12-inch (6th generation) and iPad Pro 11-inch (4th generation) at a launch, which could be hosted by the company in October this year. Apple is also expected to launch the new Mac models at the October event. In addition, both tablets are expected to be powered by an Apple M2 SoC.
As a reminder, the iPad Pro 11-inch (3rd generation) and iPad Pro 12.9-inch (5th generation) were launched last April.
The 12.9-inch iPad Pro model has a Liquid Retina CDR mini LED display with a resolution of 2,732×2,048 pixels, while the iPad Pro 11-inch (3rd generation) has a Liquid Retina display with a resolution of of 2,388×1,668 pixels. Both of Apple’s Pro-model tablets are powered by an M1 SoC with Neural Engine and ISP. The tablets also feature Magic Keyboard and second-generation Apple Pencil support.
