Arrest made in Sunday shooting case


The Bartlesville Police Department is investigating a Sunday night shooting in the 400 block of South Wyandotte Ave.

Ryan Reynolds, 22, a resident of Bartlesville, was arrested in connection with a shooting on Sunday.

At 9:26 p.m., BPD was called to a residence on the 400 block of South Wyandotte Ave. with reports of multiple gunshots.

In a statement, BPD said the investigation found Reynolds was allegedly in a car that pulled up outside the residence and fired more than 20 shots at the house and a storage shed on the property.

Three people were in the house at the time of the shooting. One of them was shot in the leg, treated and released from hospital. According to the release, Reynolds was charged with shooting with intent to kill.

During the investigation, the street in front of the house was blocked by BPD and Washington County Emergency Management vehicles as well as WCEM floodlights.

In 2020, Reynolds was arrested — and pleaded guilty to — grand larceny, third-degree burglary, theft from Dillard’s home and breaking into a car.
