SAN FRANCISCO (UKTN SF) – Surveillance video has captured an assailant beating an Asian man pushing a stroller in the Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco.
The video shows the Asian dad punched so hard he falls to the ground in front of Gus’s Community Market on 4th and Channel. The assailant hits him on the head and back more than a dozen times.

The 36-year-old victim was walking with her one-year-old in a stroller, when he was attacked from nowhere from behind on Friday just after 2 p.m.
San Francisco Police said officers were patrolling the area and immediately arrested the suspect. He has been identified as 26-year-old Sidney Hammond.

Police said the attack appeared to be random and no words were exchanged.
The child was unharmed and the victim told KPIX 5 that he was on the mend and was shaken.
