ATA shares drop 37% in early trade after main customer Dyson severed trade relationship


KUALA LUMPUR: ATA IMS Bhd shares plunged 36.6% in early trading on Friday after major customer Dyson Ltd severed trading with the Malaysian supplier.

High-tech home appliance maker Dyson told Reuters it had severed ties with the supplier, which makes parts for Dyson vacuum cleaners and air purifiers, following an audit of the practices of company work and a whistleblower’s allegations.
