Governor of Zamfara State, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, ordered that security guards be redeployed to areas affected by bandit activity.

Matawalle said this during his visit on Tuesday to the IDP camp at Unguwar Danbaba in the tsunami zone of the Gusau local government area in Zamfara state.

The governor said he was saddened and disturbed by the upsurge in banditry activities which led to the creation of a camp for internally displaced people in Gusau, the state capital.
