“She put two years of love into it! Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles says her daughter spent all night creating her first album in six years
Beyonce nearly broke the internet with the release of her debut single Break My Soul from her upcoming album Renaissance on Monday.
The four-and-a-half-minute song has been listened to millions of times after its release on the Tidal streaming service and on YouTube.
On Sunday, the 40-year-old hitmaker’s mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, 68, previewed the work that has gone into the highly anticipated collection.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the entrepreneur shared that she was looking forward to her daughter releasing the new songs.
She put two years of love into it. Many, many nights [she spent] work all night. I can’t wait for the world to hear it,” the matriarch said.
‘I’m a fan too. I’m very, very excited,” the proud mom said.
“I just posted recently that I really miss her singing, and I do. I’m as excited as everyone. I can’t wait for you to hear it.

Following the release of the dance-friendly single, Tina took to social media on Tuesday, with her own review, writing, “I really miss her singing!!!! ‘Break My Soul’ is my summer anthem right now !!!

Beyonce released her last full album, Lemonade, in 2016.
She has since worked on several collaborations, including the 2018 album, Everything is Love, with her husband, Jay-Z, 52.

The Destiny’s Child alum released the single Black Parade in 2020 in honor of Juneteenth.
She released her visual album, Black Is King, the same year.
It was a companion project to his curated album The Lion King: The Gift. The versatile entertainer was cast as the character Nala in Disney’s 2019 Lion King remake.
Renaissance is slated for release on July 29, 2022.
