Biden ‘MAGA Extremists’ Speech Fails, More Americans Worried About ‘Socialist Left’ Than ‘MAGA’

It seems that Joe Biden and the Democrats are running out of fearsome tactics ahead of the midterm elections in November. Biden’s recent divisive and incendiary speeches suggesting that half of his fellow Americans are “extremists” who pose a “threat” to democracy have failed to deliver the intended results.

At least according to a recent Harvard poll.

A new poll by Harvard-CAPS Harris shows that more Americans are engaged with left-wing socialists than with MAGA-hat-wearing Republicans.

And that’s not the only poll result that will drive the left against the wall.

Unexpected results

The results of the poll are sure to give the most ardent leftists heartburn.

For starters, the poll asked, “Are you more concerned about the socialist left in America and the power they’re getting or more afraid of MAGA Republicans and the power they’re getting?”

Only 45% said they were more bothered by so-called ‘MAGA republicans’. 55% are more concerned about the ‘socialist left’.

Further, Harvard posed this question: “Do you think there are tens of millions of dangerous MAGA Republicans who support violence and try to overthrow the Constitution or is that gross exaggeration and distortion?”

Of those polled, 54% said they found the number of “dangerous MAGA Republicans” “grossly exaggerated”. But 46% said they believe there are “tens of millions” of “dangerous MAGA Republicans”. When broken down, that percentage was 73% of Democrats, 20% of Republicans and 42% of Independents.

The hits just keep coming.

56% of respondents have “doubts about” [Biden’s] mental fitness”, compared to 44% who have no doubts.

Who are the three most favorable politicians in the country? Donald J. Trump takes first place. Joe Biden comes in a distant fourth place, behind Mike Pence and socialist Bernie Sanders.

And by the narrowest margin, 51% think the FBI attack on Mar-a-Lago was politically motivated.

Thoughts on Biden’s Speech

The Harvard-CAPS Harris survey also asked respondents what they thought of Joe Biden’s “soul of the nation” speech.

A total of 56% percent of those surveyed were against the speech. 60% said the speech “sowed division”. Only 40% thought the country would unite and move forward.

Another 54% said the speech was “fear-mongering” and 46% said they believe those fears were justified. But just a day after the speech, Biden tried to backtrack on some of his words, saying, “I don’t consider any Trump supporter to be a threat to the country.”

He continued: “Now I want to be very clear, not every Republican, not even the majority of Republicans are MAGA Republicans. Not every Republican embraces their extreme ideology. I know because I’ve been able to work with these regular Republicans. But there is no doubt that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans and that is a threat to this country.”

Probably too little, too late.

Media assist Biden with ‘Extreme MAGA Republican’ message

As is usually the case, the media wasted no time after Joe Biden’s speech to get the message across that Republicans are a “threat to democracy.”

The day after the speech, frequent far-left MSNBC guest Elie Mystal was unimpressed by Biden’s extremist MAGA Republican diatribe, actually thinking Biden didn’t go far enough: “I don’t know who ‘It’s not all Republicans, just MAGA Republicans. ‘ [is] in front of. I’m sure there are some white supremacists who will vote with white supremacists who don’t think they are white supremacists. It’s not for me.”

A few days later, on UKTN, an unhinged Roland Martin declared: “This means war. That’s where we are. We are at war with these people. These people are evil. They have allowed evil into their home with Donald Trump. He now dominates the party, this evil is spreading.”

Martin also felt Biden didn’t go far enough and needed to “get tough” with MAGA Republicans. He continued: “When you are in war situations, you have to react accordingly. It’s time for Joe Biden to get tough.”

According to the Harvard-CAPS Harris poll, a majority of Americans are not buying Joe Biden’s “extreme MAGA Republicans” line. You wonder what they will think next.
