In one of the recent episodes of Bigg Boss 16, Sumbul Touqeer Khan’s father taught his daughter in an audio call with her. He warned Sumbul against Shalin and Tina and told her to show them what they are worth and even kick them in the face.
After this, Tina Datta’s mother asked if she had the right to abuse her daughter on national television. An incident happened on the show yesterday where Sumbul’s father was given a chance to talk to Sumbul on a medical request. Where he broke the rules and gave Sumbul house information. He spoke demeaningly about Tina and Shalin and even scolded Datta on national television. The fact that Sumbul’s father got a second chance to talk to her has upset Tina’s mother.
Tina’s mother became emotional and tearful when she abused and humiliated her daughter on national television. Not having the chance to speak her mind on TV, she has released a video on Tina’s social media, calling out to the public whether it is right for someone to abuse and humiliate her daughter on a national platform. She further asked if giving such advice to show someone their aukat is a parent’s duty.
According to the UK Time News report, Shalin’s father said, “Is this the way people speak on national television? Making unwarranted insulting remarks on national television against other contestants is very, very cheap! And it is more shocking that these comments and abuses have not been edited out and rather shown. Sumbul is an adult, or you shouldn’t have sent her to the show and if you don’t have outside guidance, according to the format should be allowed. This is unacceptable!”
Bigg Boss 15 contestant Vishal Kotian also responded, asking “Kaun kehta hai #BiggBoss16 mein wildcard nahi aaye. #SumbulTouqueerKhan ke papa is already a wildcard. And Mr. Touqeer national television par usse yeh bolna ke #ShalinBhanot #TinaDutta ki aukat dikhao yeh kahan ki seekh hai (who said there is no wildcard entry on Bigg Boss 16. Sumbul’s father is already a wildcard. And what advice is this – shows Shalin and Tina their value). Rather tell her that smoking is harmful.” (With input from IANS)
