Contract researchers are fired as the right to full employment approaches

Recently, there have been many cases of termination of contract researchers with fixed-term contracts at national universities and public research institutions.

This apparently has to do with the fact that people who were employed when the revised Employment Contract Act came into effect in April 2013 will have worked for more than 10 years by the spring after the law was enforced, meaning they get the right to apply for a job for an indefinite period of time.
