COVID-19: 10,126 patients still on treatment – NCDC – UKTN

The Nigerian Center for Disease Control, NCDC, said the number of active cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country had risen to 10,126.

This follows the agency’s confirmation of 49 new cases in 8 states, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to date to 162,641.

DAILY POST reports that the numbers represent the lowest daily cases recorded in the country since the start of 2021.

NCDC made the announcement on Monday evening while giving daily case updates via its official website.

The health agency also confirmed the recovery and discharge of 158 patients, bringing the total number of healings to 150,466.

“Our discharges now include 28 community recoveries in the State of Ekiti managed in accordance with the directives”.
