Iyer was injured in India’s ODI series against England. During the first ODI on March 23, he suffered a subluxation in his left shoulder during commissioning. He was left out of the series, and it was later announced that he would miss the 2021 IPL.
DC finished second in the IPL 2020 as their fairytale race was finished by the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the final.
Facing CSK in their first IPL 2021 match at Wankhede Stadium, Delhi will aim to start its new campaign with a victory.
