Everton are not alone in their pursuit of Juventus defender Merih Demiral as Tottenham and Liverpool have reportedly returned to the chasing pack.
Demiral is expected to be available for transfer this summer after two injury seasons at Juventus. The Turkey international still has great potential but it seems unlikely that he will find the space to fill it at Juventus. Therefore, a move to the Premier League could be in store.
It has recently been claimed that Everton were ready to move for the central defender. While he may consider their offer, reports have indicated he is expecting a bigger club.
That interest may come from Tottenham, who were one of their contenders in January. And according to TuttoJuve, they relaunched their pursuit.
Spurs are looking to strengthen defensively for next season. Jose Mourinho was not happy with this part of his squad before he left and they could now look to strengthen it for their next head coach.
Both Toby Alderweireld and Davinson Sanchez have been linked with moves of the club. Even if they stay, Tottenham will want to step up the role.
Demiral could add strength to their backline and at 23 has an interesting mix of experience and potential.
It attracts many admirers, with TuttoJuve adding Liverpool and Manchester City to its list of potential destinations.
It was said that Liverpool had made an offer for him on the deadline day in February before turning to his compatriot Ozan Kabak. They seem optimistic about signing Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig this summer, so apparently only need Demiral if that fails.
City, meanwhile, bolstered their bottom line with the addition of Ruben Dias last summer. Coupled with John Stones’ return to form, the results have been positive.
Therefore, Tottenham appear to have the greatest need of Demiral’s Premier League contenders.
He is also reportedly on the radar of La Liga rivals Atletico and Real Madrid. Therefore, it looks like he will have a lot of options to choose from when the summer transfer window arrives.
The report of TuttoJuve claims that there have not yet been offers for Demiral’s services. However, with so many clubs watching, it might just be a matter of time.
Tottenham set their sights on the striker
Spurs are also looking to strengthen both in attack and at the back. To do this, they look at a player from Torino, the rival of Juventus.
The man in question is Andrea Belotti, whose contract expires in 2022. As such, he has been linked with Manchester United and Tottenham.
According to Corriere Dello Sport, Torino could accept an offer of around 25 million euros.

This price tag probably brought several contenders to the table and Calciomercato names Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur as protagonists.
The duo have “laid eyes” on the forward, but they face competition from several other Serie A teams. In fact, “there is no shortage of offers” for him this summer.
