Imagine having a take that is freezing cold and fully cooked at the same time.
Introducing Julius Erving, a man who once defied gravity, but today has chosen to challenge common sense and basic reasoning.
During an appearance on Posted with Chris Haynes released on Tuesday, Haynes asked Erving to name his all-time NBA first and second teams.
That’s when Erving cranked the oven to 480 degrees to deliver one of the most cooked takes in recent sports history.

According to Dr. J, LeBron is not worthy of doing either team, and even Michael Jordan would have to settle for second-team honors.
This is who Erving did to select:
First team: Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, Elgin Baylor
Second team: Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Karl Malone, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Apparently you have to be at least a thousand years old to crack the first team.
And as to why Dr. J snubbed LeBron from both teams?
“He’s the guy who led the charge in terms of super teams,” said Erving.
“When he formed a team in Miami, he also formed a team in Cleveland, and he formed a team in Los Angeles. So he can choose his own team. I will not choose his team.
Yes, LeBron has played with other great players, so let’s throw everything he’s accomplished out the window.
Reading quotes from such an outrageous verbal mishap just makes you want to dislodge both eyeballs with a rusty fork.
Erving will always be one of the most adorable and iconic characters in NBA history, but let’s also be thankful that he’s not just responsible for the formal voting processes of the NBA.
