FREMONT (UKTN SF) – Authorities in East Bay were investigating a fatal shooting involving a police officer involving Fremont Police on Thursday night.
Police said the subject officer performed around 6:25 p.m. Thursday night in the parking lot of the Hyatt Place hotel at 3101 West Warren Avenue.

Police said a suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. No officer was injured in the incident. Police initially did not provide any details on the circumstances of the fatal incident.
The Fremont Police Department’s Twitter account posted about the incident shortly after 7 p.m.

Authorities have not identified the deceased suspect.
