The Fujairah Municipality reported that it confiscated and destroyed 6,330 kilograms of meat and 745 parts of carcasses, because they did not meet health requirements and were unfit for consumption, after a veterinary examination in Fujairah slaughterhouses, last year.

She explained that the abattoirs work on the services of slaughtering livestock in accordance with the provisions of Islamic law, which includes veterinary examination of livestock, and preparing them before, during and after the slaughter process.
