Gasoline and diesel prices were increased up to 21 paise in subways on Wednesday May 5, 2021. In Delhi, gasoline prices were increased by 19 paise from Rs 90.55 per liter to Rs 90.74 per liter and diesel prices have been increased by 21 paise from Rs 80.91 per liter to Rs 81.12 per liter, according to the Indian Oil Corporation. In Mumbai, revised gasoline and diesel prices are Rs 97.12 per liter and Rs 88.19 per liter respectively, according to the state-run oil refiner. Currently, fuel prices are the highest in Mumbai among the four metropolitan cities. Gasoline and diesel prices vary from state to state in India due to value added tax.
