Bengaluru: As the state prepares to vaccinate everyone over 45 from today, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and Minister of Health Dr K Sudhakar have called on those eligible to be vaccinated.
Warning people not to underestimate the danger posed by Covid, Yediyurappa tweeted: “Our protective cover is the corona vaccine. Anyone over the age of 45 can get the vaccine today. you to the nearest vaccination center and get the vaccine. Together we can beat the coronavirus. “

Health Minister Sudhakar also tweeted: “As we begin to vaccinate all citizens over the age of 45 from today, 5,500 vaccination sites will be operational across the state, including 650 facilities. private and 4,850 public establishments. “
The Karnataka Minister of Health also added that 1.5 lakh of vaccine doses are supplied to the BBMP which is distributed to around 600 sites across Bengaluru.
Karnataka reported 4,225 new cases including 26 deaths in a single day on Wednesday.
