MINNEAPOLIS (UKTN) – A grass fire reduced visibility for hours on Monday for drivers in northwest Minnesota.
The Minnesota State Patrol said the fire started in the afternoon southwest of Crookston, near the Glacier Ridge National Wildlife Refuge.
Route 2 was closed for hours between Mentor and Route 32. It reopened in the late afternoon, but was closed again for about three hours due to poor visibility.
State Patrol says it was reopened around 8:30 p.m.
