Model Hailey Baldwin and pop singer Justin Bieber have been bonded over their health issues. Still recovering from the effects of a mini-stroke in March, Baldwin made the statement days after her 28-year-old husband announced he was suffering from facial paralysis due to Ramsay Hunt syndrome, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Baldwin told Good Morning America when asked how they dealt with their health fears “I think going through it very publicly, in front of a lot of people, kind of forces you to just need to be upfront about what’s going on for people to understand what you’re going through, and I think that’s opened up a lot of really amazing and important conversations.
“And I think the good part of it all, honestly, is that it brings us a lot closer, because you’re going through this together, you’re there for each other, you support each other. , and there’s just something that really binds you through, through those times.”
“Simply put, I think the silver lining of these crazy times,” she said.
Baldwin added of her husband, the ‘Yummy’ singer’s progress: “He’s doing great, he’s getting better every day. He’s feeling a lot better. And obviously it was just a very scary, random situation. , but he’s gonna be totally okay. And I’m just thankful he’s okay.
Explaining how she feels after having surgery to close a hole in her heart, Baldwin said: “I feel a lot better after this situation, I feel great… and I’m just giving my body time to heal and recover.
“It was a bit difficult for me to recover from the procedure, just to give myself time to be able to train again and feel normal if that makes sense, but I’m fine now,” said she added. “I no longer need to take medication, so I feel good.”
Bieber announced his paralysis in a three-minute video on June 10 and gave an update to his fans.
The rare hitmaker baby neurological syndrome, caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox and shingles, is believed to be temporary, with many recovering within weeks if there is no serious nerve damage.
