Harry Potter star Tom Felton collapses at 18th hole in Whistling Strait in Ryder Cup celebrity game


Harry Potter actor Tom Felton was reportedly taken to hospital after collapsing on the 18the Whistling Strait hole. Felton was in the Ryder Cup Celebrity Game when he fell ill.

A sports enthusiast who was previously interviewed on Test Match Special, Felton – who turned 34 on Wednesday – portrayed Draco Malfoy in the film adaptations of JK Rowling’s spectacularly successful novels.

The Celebrity Match was played by two teams representing Europe and America. Felton’s comrades included Italian footballer Alessandro del Piero, French actress Stephanie Szostak and two basketball players from Croatian Tony Kukoc and Slovenian Sasha Vujacic.

The Malfoy family were villainous servants of the evil Lord Voldemort, and Malfoy was Potter’s main antagonist among the children attending Hogwarts school. Felton started filming when he was just 14 years old.
