Haryana Extends School Summer Vacation Until June 30


The government of Manohar Lal Khattar in Haryana said on Tuesday it had extended summer vacation for all schools in the state until June 30.

Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal said after a meeting of the State Cabinet: “All schools in the state will remain closed until June 30 because the school holidays. ‘been extended’.

Previously, the Haryana School Education Directorate last month extended the summer vacation until June 15 after taking into account the coronavirus situation. Teachers, however, were allowed to attend schoolwork from June 1.

The state’s education minister said class 12 results will be released within a month. The results will be prepared based on an internal assessment and other parameters defined by the Haryana Board of School Education, he added.

The state government previously canceled Class 12 board exams due to the growing number of covid-19 cases in Haryana. The decision came shortly after the Modi government canceled Class 12 CBSE board exams amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
