Two true giants of Italian hospitality will soon join forces to create an unprecedented culinary journey that elevates The good life to new heights.

On July 6, 2022, Massimo Bottura – the world-renowned chef behind Osteria Francescana, Modena’s three-star Michelin restaurant that is one of the most coveted reserves on the planet – will bring his singular vision to the Saporium’s cuisine, the rarefied fine-diner at the historic seaside resort of Borgo Santo Pietro in the Tuscan hamlet of Palazzetto, about 60 miles south of Florence.

Bottura will design a seven-course tasting menu exclusively for the occasion, incorporating some of Osteria Francescana’s signature dishes, for up to 20 guests. The €1,250 (about $1,315) per person cost includes wines from Borgo’s 1,200-bottle cellar, a carefully curated collection of prestigious vintages from Italy and beyond.

This unprecedented and ultra-exclusive event will marry Borgo’s ground-to-plate philosophy, “beyond organic”, with Bottura’s wildly creative reimagining of Italian cuisine. It will rely on a dazzling abundance of unrivaled provisions to cast its epicurean charm: the 300-acre artful grounds encompass a or for (culinary garden) loaded with fruits, vegetables, herbs and edible flowers, as well as an artisan cheese factory and a top notch team of pickers, bakers and even a fermentation specialist.
