It’s been a year since Chris Hemsworth and Randeep Hooda released the Netflix movie Extraction. The film had a warm reaction on the platform and also from Chris’s peers in Hollywood, however, Randeep recently spoke about how Bollywood doesn’t seem too excited for it.
Randeep, in his first Hollywood film, played the role of Saju Rav, a former para (special forces) major. The film was produced by the Russo brothers from “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Endgame”.
Speaking to Pinkvilla about her colleagues’ reaction to the film, Randeep said, “Well, I’m pretty used to it. It happens over and over again, well it’s good. Maybe they don’t. didn’t like my acting, liked my acting maybe, that’s why they didn’t speak, ”he said.
As ‘Extraction’ wrapped up a year after its release, Randeep spoke to Pinkvilla about the lack of reaction he had from Bollywood and said, “Well, I’m pretty used to it. It happens over and over again, well it does. ‘is good. Maybe they didn’t like my acting, liked my acting maybe, that’s why they didn’t speak up. ”
He added, “But yeah, there’s a lot of hype going on, you know, among people in the industry, which hasn’t happened for that. But, hey maybe like I did. said before maybe you don’t like my game. ”
Recently, Randeep, on his Instagram, also shared a collection of videos featuring behind-the-scenes moments from the Netflix movie.
For the uninformed, “Extraction” was released on the OTT platform Netflix on April 24, 2020. Many parts of the film were filmed in India. The film was directed by Sam Hargrave and also starred Rudhraksh Jaiswal, Golshifteh Farahani, Pankaj Tripathi and David Harbor in key roles.
