In the third and final ODI between India and England on Sunday in Pune, the visitors seemed out of the game at one point with the 200-7 scorecard chasing 330, but versatile youngster Sam Curran played a stunning shot who saw him single. – bring England back into the race by hand. However, a good bowling to the death by India saw them win the thrilling decisive as England lost just seven points, even though Curran went undefeated on 95 out of 83 deliveries at the end.
“Lots of lessons learned, great shows aside. Kudos to India,” Curran tweeted a day later.
Anand Mahindra, impressed with Curran’s blow and grace in the loss, responded to the tweet with praise.

Despite being the last recognized batsman, Curran sewed a 57-point partnership with Adil Rashid and a 60-point stand with Mark Wood as he tried to complete an unlikely chase.
His 95 is also the highest score in an ODI by a No.8 batsman.
Anand Mahindra, the chairman of the Mahindra group, has been active in his tweets on the recently concluded series between India and England.
He even bought sunglasses like Axar Patel’s after the all-rounder starred in his first round of testing.
With the end of the India-England series, the focus will now be on the Indian Premier League, which is scheduled to start on April 9.
Sam Curran will represent Chennai Super Kings in the marquee tournament.
