James Harden to be out for at least 10 days with hamstring strain

The Brooklyn Nets announced on Tuesday that star James Harden has good hamstring tension and is expected to be out for ten days.

An MRI has confirmed the injury and Harden will be reassessed in 10 days.

The 31-year-old briefly returned to action in Monday night’s win over the New York Knicks before leaving the game after re-worsening his hamstrings.

Harden missed two games last week with the same tension.

The injury comes at an unfortunate moment as James Harden recently raised the MVP conversation with his game, keeping the Nets afloat despite Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant running out of time this season.

However, the Nets and head coach Steve Nash have made it clear that they are in no rush to bring Harden back and will prioritize his health at the end of the regular season and into the playoffs.

While the three stars have rarely performed together, Brooklyn has done an incredible job keeping pace at the top of the Eastern Conference.

Once all three stars are healthy and on the pitch together, it’s generally expected that they will be among the top contenders for the conference and the NBA title this summer.
