JEE Advanced 2021: Registration begins today; how to apply and other details

JEE Advanced 2021: JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) -Advanced registrations for admission to engineering schools in IIT will begin today evening after being postponed twice due to the delay in announcing the results of the JEE -Hand.

Applicants can register on the official website – jeeadv.ac.in. JEE-Advanced is scheduled for October 3.

While the JEE-Mains is conducted for admission to engineering schools across India, it is considered a qualifying test for the JEE-Advanced.

JEE-Mains’ results were announced after midnight on Tuesday. While 44 candidates scored 100 percentile on the exam, 18 candidates shared the top spot.

According to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, which is hosting JEE-Advanced this year, registration will begin on the evening of September 15 and will be accepted until 5 p.m. on September 20.

Here’s how to apply

– Go to the official website jeeadv.ac.in

– Click on the registration link

– Put your details in the fields provided

– Pay the registration fees

– Click on submit

Payment of fees

Fees can be paid until September 21. Costs of ??2,800 will apply. For women and candidates in the reserved categories, the application fee is ??1,400.

Starting this year, JEE-Mains has been held four times a year to provide flexibility for students and a chance to improve their scores. The first phase took place in February and the second in March.

The next phases were scheduled for April and May but these were postponed due to the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic which raged through the country and affected lakhs.

The third edition was held from July 20 to 25 while the fourth edition took place from August 26 to September 2.

The ranks of the candidates have been published taking into account the best of the four NTA scores in accordance with the policy already established.
