‘Joji’ teaser: Fahadh Faasil lets his eyes speak in film inspired by Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’

There is no stopping for Fahadh Faasil as the actor returns to Amazon Prime Video after nearly a year. To post See you soon, the actor-producer will then be seen in Joji which streams on the popular OTT platform. The film is based is inspired by Shakespeare’s tragedy Macbeth and the makers dropped a cryptic teaser. In the teaser, Fahadh is seen fishing in a pond and his eyes speak the most.

Talk about the premise of Joji, the creators explained it as follows: “The film presents a twisted version of a plot filled with greed, ambition, murder and mystery. The story revolves around Joji, an engineering dropout and the youngest son of a wealthy plantation family who lives with his aspirations of becoming a very wealthy NRI. But his father looks down on him and sees him as nothing more than a loser. Driven by greed and loser. ‘blind ambition, Joji finally decides to execute his plans following an unexpected event in the family. “

In a statement, Fahadh shared his excitement, saying, “As soon as I discovered my character and her journey, I knew I had to be a part of the movie. I love watching movies with unconventional twists, and Joji certainly surprises. I give myself enough time to understand my character and basically become one, but Joji is one of those characters who had an advantage that made the role interesting and appealing to me. I’m delighted that with Joji’s premiere on Amazon Prime Video, viewers around the world can enjoy our crime drama.
