‘Joji’ trailer: Fahadh Faasil stars in twisted mysterious tale

After teasing an intense glimpse of Joji, the directors of the film released the trailer on Friday. Starring Fahadh Faasil in the lead role, the Malayalam crime drama is a twisted take on Shakespeare’s tragedy Macbeth. In the trailer, we get a glimpse of Joji and his world. Joji played by Fahadh Faasil, is an engineering dropout and the youngest son of the wealthy plantation family, who aspires to become a very wealthy NRI.

The trailer also shows how his father looks down on him and sees him as nothing more than a loser. Driven by greed and blind ambition, Joji finally decides to execute his plans following an unexpected event in the family. Directed by Dileesh Pothan, Joji is written by Syam Pushkaran and also stars Baburaj, Shammi Thilakan, Alistair Alex, Unnimaya Prasad, Basil Joseph and Sunny PN in leading roles.
