Bobby went for a casual look by completing his ensemble with a pair of cool white sneakers.

Set in 14th century France, the final duel follows Jodie’s character, Marguerite de Carrouges, after being sexually assaulted by her husband’s best friend.

Her husband Jean (Matt) challenges his friend Jacques (Adam) in a state sponsored track by combat after she confides in him.

They believe that battle, the last legitimate duel in French history, will determine by the hand of God whether Marguerite is telling the truth or not.

The film is told from the perspective of each of the three characters, with Jodie telling Variety that the film will challenge audiences’ preconceptions about the role of women in society during this time period.

She said: ‘I think, for me, what was the most interesting [thing] about this scenario, it was above all an opportunity to give the floor to this woman.

“I think we tend when we see these kinds of stories being advertised, it’s like, ‘Oh, she’s gonna be the woman, it’s about the men and they fight. ”

“And everyone has these preconceptions about a woman’s place in these stories. And so it was great to challenge that, you know?

Jodie added that one of the central themes of the film – believing a woman who says she has been sexually assaulted – is still “so relevant” today.
