KELLER, Texas (UKTN) — A student was arrested Thursday at a Keller high school after they allegedly brought a gun to campus.
A Keller ISD spokesperson said Timber Creek High School received an anonymous tip on Sept. 22 about the student carrying the gun on school grounds.
Timber Creek immediately began investigating and eventually confirmed that the student did indeed have a rifle and ammunition.
The weapon and ammunition were immediately confiscated. The student was arrested and removed from campus.
The district said it continues to work with the Fort Worth Police Department, but there are currently no further threats to the campus.
