Marcel Sabitzer has dropped another clue about a possible Premier League move amid links with Manchester United.
Sabitzer looks set to leave RB Leipzig, where he has been since 2014, this summer. At 27, the midfielder does not want to miss the opportunity to take the next step in his career. This means that a move to the Premier League could draw attention, where there are three potential suitors.
Sabitzer helped eliminate Tottenham from the Champions League last season and Spurs have been interested since. Reports have also suggested Manchester United’s interest.
A third contender is said to be Liverpool, who are looking for reinforcements to help them return to the title after failing this season.
With only one year left, Sabitzer could be an attractive option for Premier League sides. He has made no secret of his admiration for the English elite in the past and has now commented again on potentially playing it.
In an interview with Kicker, his name has been mentioned in connection with clubs like Liverpool and United. Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have also been named as part of a question about where he can see himself playing.
And the response has been positive. He said, “I can imagine it a lot.”
One thing that makes Sabitzer an attractive target is its versatility. The Austrian can play as a winger or as a central midfielder.
More recently he was used in a deeper midfield role by Leipzig. This adds another layer to his profile and could in particular make him a more realistic target for United, who already have enough options to attack the midfielder.
It appears that Sabitzer is also willing to stay in his new territory.
He said: “I enjoyed the job. The new post also changed my game again.
“In the center, you will receive more the ball and you will have to make decisions more quickly. However, I still have the urge to create something in an offensive way. “

Despite the links, the MEN claim Sabitzer is not currently on United’s shortlist.
Man Utd need five signings in total
Meanwhile, an expert commented on areas where United may need to strengthen – including the post of manager.
Ask by ESPN FC How many signings United need, Craig Burley said: “Okay, so a manager…
“I believe Man United will not win the league with [Ole Gunnar] Solskjaer in charge.
“So a manager, a center-half, a right-back because [Aaron] Wan-Bissaka is good defensively, going forward, not so good.
“Yes [Manchester] City sign [Erling] Haaland… I don’t know. Probably four or five more, still a good chunk yeah. Still a good part.
