MELVILLE, NY (UKTN) – Long Island entrepreneur takes new steps to help the country find common ground.
John Cronin, 25, has Down syndrome. He founded John’s Crazy Socks with his father in 2016.

Former President George HW Bush wore a pair to his wife Barbara’s funeral in 2018.
On Tuesday, John unveiled his new design, called “Unity Socks”, with the American flag.
The Cronins say they are sending a pair to every congressman and President Joe Biden to urge unity instead of partisan politics.

“We want to bring America together, there are too many divisions,” said Mark Cronin.
“I say more fighting, more violence,” John said.
“And what is our mission?” Mark asked
“Spread happiness!” John said.

Unity socks were presented in a bipartisan way. The Cronins were joined by Republican Rep from New York, Andrew Garbarino and Dem. Tom Suozzi.
