Mallika Sherawat reveals ugly side of Bollywood, talks about A-list heroes who asked her to ‘compromise’

Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat, who has always spoken her mind, made some shocking confessions in her recent interview. The actress revealed the ugly side of Bollywood, talking about the casting couch and how she lost projects after refusing to compromise.

Speaking to UK Time News, Mallika stated that all A-lister heroes refused to work with her because she “wouldn’t compromise”. She said: “It’s very simple – they like actresses that they can control and compromise with them. That’s not me, that’s not my personality. I didn’t want to subject myself to anyone’s whims and fantasies. Sitting, standing whatever. If the hero calls you at 3 a.m. and says, “Come to my house,” then you should go, if you’re in that circle and you’re making that movie. If you’re not goes, you’re out of the movie.”

Earlier, during a conversation with Prabhat Khabar, the actress compared her role in Murder to that of Deepika Padukone in Gehraiyaan. She said: “The heroines are also more confident in their bodies. Such a hue and cry was created when I did Murder. People said all kinds of things about the kiss and the bikini. What Deepika Padukone did in Gehraaiyaan, I did for 15 years ago, but then people were too narrow-minded.”
