In a recent episode of “The Hall Of Fame” podcast with Booker T, WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry explained why he wanted to have one last match. Henry noted a few weeks ago that he would like to have another game at some point this year.
He said the following on Booker’s podcast: “There are a lot of kids who haven’t seen me wrestle. They only saw me on Youtube. It’s been enough time. Also, I quit before I had one last game, before I said hello to everyone and said, ‘Okay. I had the pink jacket. I’m sorry I lied to you about everything I was leaving and retiring. It belongs to me “.
But, I didn’t have that game where you’re going to pay tribute to the fans and you go there and you fight against someone who is promising and talented and you give them, what we call, the rub. I didn’t do this and I feel guilty. This is why I am doing it. I guess I’ll wait until I’m 50, so the expectations are lower. At 50, they don’t expect me to be there and do a 20-minute five-star game, to be honest (Henry chuckles). I’m telling you now. Look, I’m gonna go in really good shape. I’m already 80 pounds lighter than my last game. I will be in very good shape. It will take a good man to beat me, but it might not take him long. (Henry laughs again).
Here is a photo of Henry taken last month. It is clear that he is in excellent form and that he is ready for his last game.
