Abu Dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces, on Monday received a call from Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Crown Prince, Vice -Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
They discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
They also referred to the “Green Middle East” initiative announced by the Saudi Crown Prince, which aims to plant 50 billion trees in partnership with countries in the region. It will be the largest reforestation program in the world that would help preserve the environment and maintain renewable sources.
Sheikh Mohamed praised Prince Mohammed’s initiative and its lasting impact in overcoming the economic and social challenges facing the region’s environment and improving the quality of life.
