The former Indian captain is married to Sakshi Singh Dhoni and the duo have a daughter. Dhoni is currently playing in the current 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL) season with Chennai Super Kings (CSK), for whom he is also a skipper. CSK are currently second in the standings after four wins in five games and have recorded eight points. They are behind the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), who have won five matches in six matches.

Despite CSK’s consistent form this year, Dhoni hasn’t really been able to show off his cricket skills to his fullest pedigree. He scored 37 points in six games, with four fours and one six. The derisory number of points is due to his low position in the batting order of CSK.

He is eighth in the list of most points scored in IPL history. In 210 games, he recorded 4,669 points, with an undefeated 84-point stroke as his best score in tournament history.

CSK currently face SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Game 23 on Wednesday. SRH is eighth in the table, with just one victory in five matches.

In their previous match, Dhoni skipped CSK to a huge 69-point victory over RCB. Ravindra Jadeja was in great shape, helping CSK set a goal of 192 points, with an unbeaten shot of 62 points from 28 deliveries.
