Mum’s boozy birthday party erupts in ‘drunken mess’ and most ‘fighting Brits ever’

A mother’s boozy birthday party turned into “something Shameless” with a hilarious brawl sparked by an e-cigarette.

Lisa Keegan has compared her 50th celebrations to a scene from the Channel 4 comedy series after a drunken fight broke out when family friend Adam, 40, snatched an e-cigarette from a teenager.

In an attempt to smash the scrap metal also involving her daughter’s boyfriend Tony, 52, she ended up being dragged to the ground through the heart.

A flurry of missed punches and falls from family members were all caught on camera in the garden by one of the watching guests, left in roars of laughter.

Caught in the line of fire, Lisa from Colne, Lancashire, found herself shouting “no, you beat me”.

His daughter Colleen Jarvis then falls backwards into a chair as other laughing guests watch, and arguments rage around a broken pew in the chaos.

Furious Lisa eventually separates the pair to gain control, before finally warning Tony to walk away by grabbing a chair and waving it towards him.

Lancashire Police have been called and confirmed they have escorted a man home and that inquiries are ongoing.

Tony laughed at his misdirected punches, joking that he is now “too old to fight”, but says he is grateful to the police for the “coming home”.

Adam, who says it was his first day of drinking in five years, admitted the fight “felt more like shadow boxing” and the whole incident was a “drunken mess”.

Lisa compared it to cult UKTN drama Shameless but admitted it made her 50th birthday one she will ‘never forget’.

A video of the gin and vodka fueled brawl has been viewed more than a million times, with users crying with laughter and cheering.

Lisa said: “You only turned 50 once and it’s definitely a birthday I’ll never forget! It was chaos.

“Adam was just bamboozling people, and he took [a lad’s] e-cigs. Tony defended him, but instead of hitting Adam, he was hitting me.

“They couldn’t butt heads with each other because everyone was so drunk. I was in their midst to break up, but I should have let them.

“The video is hilarious. It’s like something Shameless. I was like Meme. When I fell over I just started laughing. Even the dog was barking to tell them.

“When I looked back at it I thought ‘oh my days’. I was embarrassed. We had a lot of issues about it but some people call me a legend. ‘is great. “

Lisa says some neighbors even laughed at the fight in their gardens and her nine-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Star even barked to help stop it.

Although the police were called to the scene, Tony and Adam say they made up at the end of the night.

Tony said: “It’s funny looking back. My girlfriend was falling, Lisa was screaming and screaming, everyone is falling everywhere.

“Adam was cocky, but we were all pissed off. It was more fun than anything. He’s not my buddy but I know him. He’s a nice guy.

“I accidentally punched him a few times but I didn’t mean to. I didn’t even know it. I was more tired than anything. I’m too old for that stuff.

“There was nothing malicious about it. We fixed the problem and the police took me home.”
