Before his death, Harry, the son of supermodel Stephanie Seymour, 54, and businessman Peter Brant, 75, was a socialite who wrote for Interview Magazine as a teenager and an up-and-coming model who appeared in Italian Vogue and Balmain campaigns.

At the time of their son’s passing, Stephanie and Peter told People Magazine in a heartbreaking statement, “It is with immense sadness that we share with you the news that our beloved son, Harry Brant, has lost his battle with addiction and passed away. due to an accidental overdose of prescription medication.

“Our hearts are shattered. Harry wanted to kick his addiction and was just days away from going back to rehab.”

They continued, “Harry was not only our son, he was also a wonderful brother, loving grandson, favorite uncle and a caring friend. He was a creative, loving and powerful soul who brought light to the hearts of so many people. He really was a beautiful person inside and out.’

A friend of the family told the publication at the time that Harry’s father had “tried to get him back into rehab” amid concerns and frustration over his drug use.

“It’s hard, anyone who knows addiction knows this,” the source said. “We all knew he had this problem.”

The source said Harry and older brother Peter Jr were “inseparable” siblings because “they complemented each other, they were always there for each other and of course fought like siblings do.”

Harry “had everything in store for him” and “was well above his age,” the source noted.

The family also talked about his passion for writing, style and fashion after his passing.
